Of the Founding of Ink Inc.

Well I got another blog. And this one was an accident. Promise. :D

Here's how it went.

A few weeks ago, I thought it would be cool to have a writing devoted blog called "Ink Incorporated" lol. Get it? Ink Inc. Then fast forward to today. I was fiddling around on the create-a-blog page...and then you know what? I moved through the pages and didn't realize when the end was and so it created my blog.

Not that I regret it or anything.

How Books Control My Life

I'm finding this to be increasingly more my life. Getting so hooked on a book and then staying up till 10 or later. Resulting in turning my math book, or other curriculum into a pillow. Like today for example. It wasn't a book but I had to put my sister down for a nap and as soon as my head hit the pillow to "sleep" I felt my eyelids droop. And with waking up at 5:30 am for Seminary I'm SLOWLY learning how to get to bed on time.

But still , you gotta admit that the written word is amazing.

We Were Made To Be...

Just watched this tonight with the fam. This movie is fabulistic! It is clean and filled with all areas. Emotion. Humor. Action. It's got it all and the pacing fits like a puzzle! I loved this movie.

But it is not recommended for kids who would get scared by intense police action fight scenes. It deals with some hard gangs and so forth.. But it's got a great message. Truly a masterpiece, one I'll watch again. :D

The Big X

See that X? That's Big Red. She's my friend. She comes from the Exclusive Editing Department in my brain. Yeppers. She came to help today.

I'm working on a short story competition for the Patrick Henry College. My manuscript deadline for submitting is the 1st. :D So now I'm editing it. Maybe if you're lucky,  I'll post it.

But for now I'm learning the joys of the red pen. That big X that you see just cut out a whole section. Well actually I like that section, but it was a repeat. :D But you get the analogy I hope. You might see the other marks. Eep. I love red Pens. :D

Yeah how old am I? Am I really mature? See for yourself.

Yes that is a carseat. But it's not like there were many other options available in my leaders car. And yes I did get my gut squeezed like crazy.

So, am I really 14?

Yeah......that was my Halloween costume....it was truly home made. :D  I thought it rocked.

The Joys and the Products of an iMac..

So, for Christmas we received a present that has been long awaited (by one boy especially...).
AN iMAC!




And with that iMac came a variety of new features. Including iMovie. This is a program designed for putting together movies with effects, etc.. And Adam discovered that you can use your videos and make Movie Trailers! So he did a few fun ones that we've been watching alot.....and I mean alot. So passing them along! :D
