News! & other things

So for those of you who haven't heard.......Baby Bethany arrived this past week! That's the biggest news. We are all very excited about her arrival. For pictures and etc....see HERE. I'm in Arizona at the moment for a Family Reunion so I don't have the means to post my own pictures. :D Forgive me.

So I made the news sound plural...well really there isn't much else to report....

I got back from my Church's Girls Camp on Saturday. I'm still overcoming all the tiredness and zombie-nature I gained from the fun and adrenaline. *(Does that sentence even make sense?) A post will be coming soon. But there are pictures to gather and other fun things....so I'll be updating more on that later. Probably when I back home next week.

FYI- My Birthday is coming up next week! I'll be 14 on August 5th! So excited...EEEEP!!!! Did I mention I'm be excited?

*(I have no idea since well....My blog is and unedited edition of me.)

The Comedy of Errors - brought to you by the Scholars of Light Teenagers.

As a new feature to our Homeschool Co-op, this year we did DRAMA! Of course I was totally Hyped. We were split into two groups. Older Kids(everyone older than Adam) and the Younger Kids(Adam down).

Us older kids decided we wanted a Shakespeare and so we did a shorter version on 'The Comedy of Errors'. It could be called abridged, but none of the words were changed, except when we changed them for modern comedy. So basicly it's the story with no excess and freakishly long speeches. :D Except one.

We have a blast. It was tons of fun. Luckily for you, mom got it on video. So here we are! All 5 parts. I'm the Duke, and Luce, a maid, as well as a soldier. We had to double since we didn't have enough people and some parts were small. Anyways... Hope you like it! There is one video where I'm not in it...but I recommend watching anyway. :D It's a great story and you're sure to love it.

Sorry for the cutoff, I'm working in it so that you can see the whole video... This will be a problem. Anyways.. THE COMEDY OF ERRORS!

Gotta Love Veggie Tales...

Oh man it's just amazing. :D Yeah I know...hearing that come from a 13-ALMOST 14!-year old...But Veggie Tales is just awesome. :D Here is one of their fun songs.

End of the Year STUFF.

for those of you who didn't know, during the school year our homeschool group (Scholars of Light-Sol) has a choir for the older kids. And at the end of each year we always have a family performance with a portfolio of our songs. Well mom got a few on video. Here are a couple. Sorry they are so late. I blame it on mom who was behind on posting. I love you mommy. :D

The Instrument Song

Americana Jubliee
(starts with Star Spangled, then a pause and Jubilee begins)

P.S. Sorry for the cut off.

Official Review of my favorite book EVER

The Lord of the Rings The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Synopsis: Through the urgings of the enigmatic wizard Gandalf, young hobbit Frodo Baggins embarks on an urgent, incredibly treacherous journey to destroy the One Ring. This ring -- created and then lost by the Dark Lord, Sauron, centuries earlier -- is a weapon of evil, one that Sauron desperately wants returned to him. With the power of the ring once again his own, the Dark Lord will unleash his wrath upon all of Middle-earth. The only way to prevent this horrible fate from becoming reality is to return the Ring to Mordor, the only place it can be destroyed. Unfortunately for our heroes, Mordor is also Sauron's lair.

Genres: Fantasy, Fiction, Classic, Action and Adventure,

Review: THIS. IS. THE. BEST. BOOK. EVER.
It's a clever, humorous, awesome, EPIC!! Full of SO MUCH EPICNESS!!! Ah it's a total classic. But the awesomest one at that. EVERYONE HAS TO READ IT. It's got everything you could ever want in a fantasy: Action, Romance, Elves, Mythical creatures, Magical tools, wizards, great morals, and don't forget awesome hero's and heroines. It's packed. The Languague is not modern easy breeze-through. It's more difficult. Full of good lessons and heroism for the right.

Gotta love it. :D

Mormonads

In my room I have a bunch of small posters with good meanings. The magazine that my church puts out for the youth, New Era, always have a poster(called Mormonads) in it with a phrase of wisdom based on good standards and attributes. I'd like to share the ones that are on my wall and some others that I really love, due to the really good reminders they give. If you go HERE you can search the Mormonads and even print them out, to hang up and so forth.
