  1. Here are some suggestions:

I'm bibliophilic (no doubt about it)!
You'd think I work at the library
How to cure a bibliophile? Put her in the library, of course!

Those are the ideas which I have right now. When you are reading have you ever tried identifying the worldview of the author? It is very interesting sometimes. It might sound complicated, but is it pretty easy. Just try to find the answers to these questions as you are reading:

How does the author view God (or a supreme deity/deities)?
How does the author view the nature of man (is he sinful, perfect, or inherently good)?
How does the author view the world (is the world all there is, is it completely bad, worth preserving)?
How does the author view heaven/hell (if any)?
How does the author view life (does it have value, is our body on earth all that there is)?
How does the author view law (is it made by God or man, should we obey earthly law)?
Do these line up with what I believe?

You can find the answers by looking at the actions/words of the characters, the author's comments about the characters, the character's goals, etc....
I would also suggest looking at the worldview which you believe... This has helped me chose good books, and be more careful about believing what I read (even if it is all fiction).

P.S. Here are a lot of good quotes about books. I though you might enjoy. :)

The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who can't read them.
    - Mark Twain

A good book is the best of friends.
    - English Proverb

People will not be better than the books they read.
    - Bishop Potter

Be as careful of the books you read as the company you keep.
    - Paxton Hood

The fact of knowing how to read is nothing, the whole point is knowing what to read.
    - Jacques Ellul

We should accustom the mind to keep the best company by introducing it to only the best books.
    - Sydney Smith

One sure window into a person's soul is his reading list.
    - Mary B. W. Tabor

The reading of all good books is like conversation with the finest men of past centuries.
    - Descartes

The books that help you most are those which make you think the most. The hardest way of learning is by easy reading: but a great book that comes from a great thinker-- it is a ship of thought, deep freighted with truth and with beauty.
    - Theodore Parker

Books are the ever burning lamps of accumulated wisdom.
    - George William Curtis

What is a great love of books? It is something like a personal introduction to the great and good men of all past times. Books, it is true, are silent as you see them on their shelves; but, silent as they are, when I enter a library I feel as if almost the dead were present, and I know if I put questions to these books they will answer me with all the faithfulness and fulness which has been left in them by the great men who have left the books with us.
    - John Bright

Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers. ~Charles W. Eliot

I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves. ~Anna Quindlen, "Enough Bookshelves," New York Times, 7 August 1991

P.P.S. Okay! I didn't mean to put that may quotes... But I kept running into more and more great ones! I know you will enjoy them all (BTW, you did ask for more quotes for your Weekly Quote email)

    P.P.P.S. Good Bye! :)
